The farm “Il Grillo Parlante” covers an area of 15hectares, surrounded by wide open spaces with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside (mainly vineyards and olives groves) and the surreal County of Pitigliano. The farmhouse is set in a typical Tuscan landscape, rich colors and scents that characterize the “Maremma”, where nature surrounds you with his melodies in a relaxed atmosphere completely free of human contamination.

Composed primarily of a few varieties of olives (Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino, Canino), surrounding the farmhouse creating beautiful avenues that show their full beauty in the middle of spring giving vibrant and intense colours.
During harvest, starting from early November and never beyond the end of the month, the olives are harvested by hand and then be pressed within 12 hours in the mill located close to the farm. The choice of an early harvest period is designed to ensure our oil a deep green colour with notes of bitter and spicy.
Once obtained by the method of cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil requires the same care and attention for conservation, so the farm meticulously ensures that storage is in the dark in steel barrels. The cold-pressed olive oil can maintain its flavor, colour and nutritional value.
